Antique Louis C Tiffany favrile American art glass compote. Iridescent gold glass. Made early 20th century. 3 1/2 inches high. Diameter of top rim is 4 5/8 inches. Round base, short neck, cup / bowl flaring to a wide diameter in order to reveal the engraved ring of grape clusters and vine leaves on a scrolling branch. The glass has a great iridescence and glows in a variety of shades, depending on the angle of the light. Fine engraved detail to the grapes and foliage. Engraved signature under the base: L.C.
