In the 1930's, New Martinsville made some beautiful, quality glass animals and bookends. Presented here are a pair of their #499 Clipper Ship Bookends, which were produced in 1938.Measuring approximately 5 3/4" in height and 4 3/4" in width, these bookends have a nice, substantial weight to them. The detail of the ships is extremely good and the glass is clear. Excellent condition!
