Circa 1889 Findlay Onyx glass muffineer, sugar shaker, Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton Company, Findlay, Ohio, opal, platinum, multiple layers with deeply patterned daisy motif, rich platinum pattern on opal ground.

Condition – excellent, no cracks or chips, shows silver wear on silver-plated brass cover. 1393
- Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton, Findlay, OH, Findlay Onyx glass was only produced during 1889. Costs were excessively high and considerable loss of items during production and shipping shortened the life span of sales on this art glass. There was experimentation with various colors. (This example has a “best†rim under the lid with nominal nicking that is most often seen on this glass).
