Pressed glass vaseline match safe / toothpick holder in the form of an elephant head. From a collection of turquoise blue pressed American vaseline glass, mostly dating to the 19th century. THis one with double Native American heads. Looks yellow under the black light.Measures 3 3/8inches high.Ridged and ruffled base narrowing to a smoothe neck that holds a rounded, flaring holder with scalloped quatrafoil top. The front and back have moulded Native American Indian heads with huge feather headresses, long hair and traditional clothing.Bottom is marked K.Condition is good except for a chip on the inside rim of one side (shown in the photos).
