1896 Birmingham, England: cut glass and sterling silver lidded cologne or perfume bottle. 5 1/4'' high. Round body made of deeply faceted cut glass in vrious patterns. The neck is silver overlaid and the screw-on lid is silver with scrolling repousse patterns and engraved cap. Lid is marked in two places for Birmingham 1896. Some of the lower marks are worn, but the others are quite clear. HW ?N & ?L is the maker. The bottle and silver are in very good condition: negligible minute dings to the silver.
