Antique Edwardian silver-topped vanity jar. Full British hallmarks for Birmingham, 1901, maker's mark is JW for J.Wilmot. Round jar, crystal with cut design and central starburst underneath. The sterling silver top is embossed with swirling lobed scrolls, and a clear centre panel (blank) where owner's initials can be engraved. Little jar measures 5.8 cm high and 7 cm diameter. Excellent condition - you can see the remains of gilding inside the lid.
