SORRY SOLD: Here is a very, very rare little bottle! Probably German dating c 1775-1825.
It is blown in a hexagonal mold with a tooled lip and ground and polished pontil scar on base. It is also very finely threaded about 2/3’s the way up and also on the stopper that appears to have been made in 2 pieces and is very finely fit. The precision of a clockmaker!!!
Beautiful yellow-green glass with lots of seed bubbles.
Wonderful RARE early piece. Bottle is about 5†tall. It has a few minute flea bites to the treading, otherwise perfect.
I have never seen another in nearly 50 years of collecting!
Price is firm.
