Long, narrow scent / smelling salt bottle, known as a flacon, made in France, 18th century.Measures just under 8inches long.Long, rectangular container with rounded edges. A sharp tapering forms the neck above which the top flares out slightly. The original stopper fits into a conical shaped opening. The opening is quite uneven in thickness, showing the age of the glass. The surface is beautifully decorated with blue and white enamel. Condition is very good.
