Loetz iridescent glass and enamel vase with unusual twisted shape. Made Bohemia 19th century.A little over 11 1/2inches high.General shape is rectangular, but the sides are twisted to give a strong sense of movement. The border on top has a gold panel about an inch wide that is decorated with black and white enamelling.The rest of the vase has fabulous iridescence on the extraordinary ground of blue-purple glass.
