SORRY SOLD:
Here is a rare early 18th century (C 1710 - 1720) black glass English bladder wine bottle. This is a superb early example in very deep olive-amber glass. Exceptional squat form and beautiful crude black glass. Full shine to glass. About 8" tall and very near mint! Only a small lip flake. It is a lovely early crude example. Earlier that usually found. The base is somewhat irregular so it will rock when on a glass shelf.
Deep base kick-up with large pontil scar. A stunning rare beauty that is almost impossible to find these days!
Price is firm.
Thanks for looking!
