This beautiful water carafe was represented to me as having been produced by J.D. Bergen, in their Golf pattern. Since American Brilliant Cut Glass is not exactly my area of expertise, if this is in error, please let me know.The carafe is 7 1/2" in height, approximately 6 1/2" in diameter at the bulbous section and the glass itself is approximately 3/8" in thickness. Lovely buzzsaw and fan cuts decorate the body of the piece and a 16 point star enhances the bottom.There are no chips or cracks and the glass is amazingly clear. A very minor amount of shelf wear can be seen on the bottom of the carafe. This is a stunning piece and it sparkles brilliantly in a lighted display.
