In a delightful state of preservation, this George III oval bowl is crisply cut with deep crosses centered with fine hatchwork and topped with palmate cutting. The edges are neatly ridged to provide a lively glitter, and the bottom center is cut with a sixteen-pointed star. Approximately 10-1/2 inches long by 7-1/4 inches wide by 2 inches deep. English or Irish, circa 1820.
