Val Saint Lambert was established in June 1826 by the chemist M. Kemlin and settled in the Cistercian abbey in Seraing, near Liege, Belgium.
In heyday it employed 5,000 staff at the factory in handmade glass.
The glass and crystal work of Val Saint Lambert has become world famous and is the official supplier of glassware to His Majesty King Albert II of Belgium.
