Save 10% today... This fabulous early Fenton amethyst carnival bowl is called either Comet or Ribbon Tie. The ribbons of smooth rays radiate from the center to the deep 3 and 1 ruffle. These float over circles of stippled glass making a very handsome pattern indeed. The amethyst bowl has carnival colors that radiate purples, blues, and greens. It does have a wee bit of carnival loss in the center, otherwise it is in excellent condition. This handsome bowl sits on a collar foot and spans 8 3/4" across the rim, and 2 1/4" high. I have other early Fenton and elegant glassware in my inventory... take a peek. Insurance and confirmation are included in the price. « Less

For sale I have a Lovely piece of Carnival Glass made by the Dugan Glass Company of Indiana, Pa. The shape is a Compote and the pattern is known as Daisy and Plume. The Compote measures approximately 5" tall and is 5 7/8" in diameter.
The compote is ruffled and the pattern is on the exterior which depicts three alternating Daisies with a Vertical Plume of a feather in between each flower. There is stippling in the background behind the pattern which fades towards the flare of the ruffled rim. The foot and stem of the compote have nine wide ribbed panels. The interior of the Compote is plain however it has a nice iridescence in which you can see hues of Fuchsia, Blue, Green and Gold. The color is Deep Purple or Amethyst and the stem and foot are so dark they almost appear Black.
The Compote is considered to be in Excellent Condition as ther are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings. The piece is unsigned but guaranteed to be Dugan's Daisy and Plume. Northood also made this as Dugan acquired the mold from Northwood when they took over the operations.
This Compote was made Circa 1909-1912.

For sale I have a very nice piece of Carnival Glass made by The Fenton Glass Company of Williamstown, West Virginia. The Pattern is "Sailboats" and the shape is known as a Compote. The Compote stands 6 3/8" tall and is 5 1/4" in diameter at the opening. The foot has a diameter of 2 7/8".
The Compote Displays a wonderful Marigold Base Glass with very Vibrant iridescence. The colors are just splendid as you can see brilliant Fuchsias, Greens and Blues for the Compote Cup. The Cup sits on a clear stippled spiral stem with a clear round foot. The pattern is on the exterior part of the compote and not on the inside. There is iridescence on the exterior and the interior.
The Compote is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The piece is unsigned as is true with this early pattern. More than likely had a Paper Label at one time. This is a very nice compote in a not so commonly found pattern. Those Collector's of Marigold and Fenton and want an excellent example in both form and Iridescence will be extremely pleased with their purchase. This is known as Pattern #1774 in the early Fenton Catalog.
This piece is early as it was made Circa 1914-1922. « Less
