Exquisite and graceful large antique Victorian glass clam shell shaped bowl on a silver (plate or?) footed stand. The edges of the bowl are finished in an unusual asymmetrical pattern of points. The glass is artfully decorated with a polychrome enamel flower and scroll pattern. The inside of the bowl is a light blue glass, the outside of the bowl is opal. The silver base (plate or?) has a Rococo pattern of scrolls on the base as well as the feet. The bowl is attached to the base with a silver circle in the center of the bowl. Not sure who the maker is... Circa late 1800's / early 1900's.
Size: appx. 12" across widest point of bowl; appx. 9 1/2" high at tallest point - bowl in stand;
Condition: glass is in excellent condition with the exception of a small flake on one point - see pic; some wear to gold particularly on edges and over white scrolls
