Attributed to Tiffany Studios (New York, NY, 1878-1933)
A set of 11 antique glass tiles by the famed Tiffany Studios. This type of tile was used for fire screens and fireplace surrounds. Unsigned.
Tiffany Studios was comprised of a team of designers under the direction of Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848-1933). Louis was the son of Charles Tiffany who founded the jewelry and luxury goods store Tiffany & Company. His studio produced a wide range of decorative arts including stained glass windows, lamps, mosaics, blown glass, enamelware, ceramics, jewelry and bronze metalwork. His work is influenced by the Art Nouveau and Aesthetic Movements.
