This is a striking, large antique American jeweled stained glass window, circa 1900, with an abstract design featuring stylized fleurs-de-lis. The intricate design of the glass incorporates several different glass types and a vibrant selection of colors, with amethyst purple, amber, green, and blue glass. The design begins with a blue fleur-de-lis on a light gold background, flanked by an abstract amethyst design. Below the blue fleur-de-lis is a stylized purple fleur-de-lis, which flows into an abstract design and has an eye-catching red smooth jewel at its center. The purple design rests on a blue background which echoes the shape of the fleur-de-lis on a large scale. The bottom part of the design is framed by curving green pebble-textured volutes, which meet two volutes extending down from the top of the window. The design is framed on three sides with an amethyst border. The window is in good antique condition, with several hairlines (see pictures) which are hardly noticeable and do not affect the beauty of the piece. The frame is also in good antique condition, with some wear to the corners. It measures 48†wide and approx. 73 ¼†tall, with a frame 1 ¾†thick. The glass is 44 ¼†wide and 68 ½†tall.
