This is a splendid antique Arts and Crafts American stained glass window, circa 1910-1920, featuring a shield design. The shield (or crest) is made of multicolor opalescent, textured glass in colors ranging from gold to blue, and is adorned with a diagonal violet-colored band. A band of yellow textured glass runs across the window, behind the shield, and a honey-colored hammered glass border surrounds the clear granite glass background of the piece. The window is in very good antique condition with a tight, barely noticeable hairline in the bottom right-hand corner (pictured). The frame is in very good antique condition. The window measures 21 ¾†wide and 24 7/8†tall, with a frame 1 3/8†thick, and the glass measures 17 ½†wide and 19 ¾†tall.
