Rare pair of Italian terra cotta satyrs depicted as female (unusual) . Exceptional detail and displayed contra posto (true right and true left) with very detailed hairy legs /hoofs and very seductive female torsos/faces. One has a tambourine and the other cymbals. Probably architectural elements originally and later (20th century ) mounted as consoles . Very warm terra cotta finish and patina .
