Delightful antique boxed newel post with a pointed dome finial, dating from the early 1900s. This box newel features a simple body with beveled trim, with fleur-de-lis embellishing the upper section. The middle body features recessed panels with ribbon and bellflower details. The newel has been painted brown and is in good antique condition with some chips and wear as shown. The newel post measures 5-6/8†wide and 56-3/4†tall.
