A beautiful antique carved Neoclassical fireplace mantel, salvaged from a circa-1915 home in Detroit. The center of the mantel is ornamented with a beautifully carved basket of fruit, with dentil trim above and an urn on either end of the mantel. The legs of the mantel feature reeded columns with foliate capitals, and the opening and the upper edge feature beveled borders. The mantel measures 53†tall, 72†wide, and 11†deep; the firebox opening is 47-1/4†wide and 38-3/4†tall.
