This is a superb early 19th century American Federal bold tiger maple finely dovetailed washstand with a graceful back splash and scrolled scalloped skirt gallery above a pierced basin top on square tapering tall Hepplewhite legs joined by a valanced apron, medial shelf and finely dovetailed drawer below with period brass Sheraton hardware. Old refinish. Height : 39 1/2'' Width: 16 1/2'' Depth: 16 1/2'' Mellow amber nut brown patina. Circa: 1800-1820 It has survived in a superb state of preservation. A lovely New England gem!
