Spice rack in the form of a bookshelf with an insect band. Made in Japan, late 19th century - early 20th century.Measures 7 1/4inches accross and 4 1/2inches to highest point on shelf.Wooden rack with curly edges. The spice boxes are all in the form of volumes in a library with insect trumpeters and drummers depicted on the sides.Marked Japan underneath each container.Condition is good.
