Period Country French tax collectors table c1800. This table measures 39 inches wide by 37 inches deep by 29 inches high. This country farm table has a wonderful old waxed patina. Tax tables were brought out on wagons into the fields and set up to collect taxes from the local farmers. At one time this table had a drawer underneath the top which is made from large boards.
