circa: 1940 width: 63 height: 30 length: 44 This gorgeous pedestal table was English-made around 1940 and recently imported to our furniture store here in Atlanta, GA. The overall design of the table is taken from the Georgian period, as evidenced in the pedestal structure itself, as well as in the turned columns and style of banding. The mahogany, satinwood and rosewood, having been treated to an elaborate finishing process, look fantastic together, particularly as a rich patina has begun to set into the wood over the past 60 years. The brass casters also provide a nice contrast to the mahogany base, while they also offer convenient mobility. This table does disassemble into the top and base, and this is how it will ship. Assembled, the table is very sturdy, although it has sustained some surface wear (see pics). Overall, therefore, the condition of this table is very good.
