Antique table, American Empire center table circa 1830's. The wood is exceptionally well-grained and the perimeter band around the top edge is exquisite. The apron is bold ogee curved detail and the stance of the base is nicely arched to lift the pedestal. Some sun fading on top. Rated as one of the best pieces of this type by experts who have viewed.
