A labeled “Herter Bros, New York & W.H. Van plus the numbers 4808†recamier, the newer vinyl covering was added on top of the original black leather upholstery, it was during this reupholstering that the stamp was discovered. This is a late 19th Century example with mythological animals resembling dolphins. 75 inches long & 26 inches deep.
