Height 44", width 64", depth 26". This piece is oak except for the drawer front and torches which are of walnut (all original), designed to achieve a more dramatic two-tone effect. The drawer has a lion mask in the center and carved leaves in the shape of a face on either side. The two doors are decorated with a geometric pattern framing a lion mask. The posts have flaming torches. The sides are paneled with choice-grained cuts of oak. The back has an interesting arrangement of stiles and rails crossing in the middle, with an early type of block (non-beveled) panels fitted by tongue and groove. Condition: Basically all original including lock and latches. Center shelf later. Good condition, with some age cracks.
