circa: 1910 width: 86 height: 35 length: 22 This gorgeous mahogany sideboard was handmade in England around 1910, during the Edwardian period. Over a century of aging, the mahogany has developed an incredibly rich patina that enhances the deep, lustrous complexion and the pronounced grain of the wood. The result is an exquisitely beautiful sideboard that would make a fine addition to any collection. With classic Edwardian style satinwood string inlays, the mahogany looks even more striking, while solid brass pulls also provide a lovely contrast with the wood. A single key accompanies this sideboard and locks all but the leftmost cabinet, while the single drawer features hand-cut dovetails. This sideboard has sustained some superficial wear, mostly in the form of numerous small scuffs and stains (see pictures), but structurally this sideboard remains as sturdy as ever, so overall condition is very good for a piece of this age.
