A very elegant English George III mahogany bowfront sideboard with dazzling cross-banded satinwood top and three line inlays, circa 1800, with the rare inclusion of the original "lion's head" pulls. The drawers repeat the pattern of the top and are accented with corresponding exuberant satinwood borders. The case rest on six tapered legs that terminate in spade feet. Ancient, old surface with outstanding patina, untouched by time with no notable repairs.
