This is a handsome and beautifully patinaed Buffet made from solid selected walnut during the second part of the 19th century. The walnut used to build this item is originally from Burgundy, one of the wine areas in France. This interesting piece consists of a rectangular contoured top sitting upon a 3-drawer frieze mounted with the original handles above a central door embellished with medieval accents and flanked by side doors adorned with acanthus rosettes. Note the tapered turned fluted columns separating each door and completing the look. The interior compartment is very spacious and provides a single shelf. Note minor scratches and dents here and there due to the age. Circa date 1880. Dimensions: 39 ½â€(height) x 66 5/8â€(wide) x 24â€(depth)
