This is a stunning and elegantly simple Buffet made from solid mahogany by the end of the reign of Louis XVI. This lovely patinaed piece is topped by its original Var Orange Marble, which has been repaired at some point sitting upon an adorable façade featuring a 2-drawer frieze above a pair of recessed paneled doors revealing a large storage compartment with single shelf, all standing on tapered turned legs on cast bronze sabots. Note minor scratches and dents here and there due to the age. Circa date 1780. Dimensions 33â€(height)/ 43â€(wide)/ 17 ½â€(depth).
