This is a beautifully patinaed Buffet handcrafted from solid walnut during the middle part of the 17th century topped by its original Mazy Black inset marble sitting upon a nice façade featuring a pair of paneled recessed doors embellished with diamond point ornamentation and revealing an efficient storage compartment with a single shelf, all supported by ball feet. Hardware is in original condition except for the lock and key which are estimated to be from the end of the 18th century. Note several scratches and dents here and there due to the age. Circa date 1650. Dimensions 36 1/2"(height) x 51 /4"(wide) x 25"(depth).
