Western India Bombay pierced carved rosewood cabinet c1870. The front of the cabinet is serpentine shaped, over overhanging top with a serpentine shaped back-splash. The back-splash contains a central double bird with leaves and berries. The base of the cabinet is applied with a deep carved and pierced apron, the front framed within the heads of beasts at the base of the columns.
