Circa 1900. Tall, elegant marble pedestal in a Classical taste. This finely grained and colored marble column has all the fine details that are found in the best pieces of this Period such as a bold "Greek Key" pattern and fine turned rings and octagon base all in a deceptively simple marble column. The two large parts are carved twists and the bottom cylinder has deep cut ovals. Estate fresh and in beautiful "as found" condition with no damage or repairs. This Late Victorian pedestal/plant stand and the other one we have just listed from the same home, both come apart for easier shipping.
