Unusual early European primitive burl wood stand, probably made circa 1700. The top is a 19.5" slab of burr or burl elm wood, banded all around. The shaft is a tree limb retaining its natural bark. The base is comprised of 4 iron feet strapped to the shaft. The table is strong, sturdy, and does not wobble. It is 28.25" high. Shipping extra.
