Late Victorian, Louis XVI style curio cabinet. Extra fine gilded gesso decorated with wreaths, flowers and intricate moldings. French style turned and carved legs and fluted colum side moldings add to the appeal of this elegant cabinet. Large rare "J" shaped bevelled glass doors make this vitrine both visually striking and functional. All original untouched condtion, including mirrored back, glass shelves and fancy brass key . No loss to any of the ornate gesso, some loss to the gilding, overall the loveliest china closet we have ever purchased.
