The Berkey and Gay furniture Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan, became one of the leading nineteenth century furniture manufacturers of Gothic Revival and Eastlake styles. This is an early 20th Century satin wood and parcel gilt vitrene, having the brass maker's seal on the inside right of the drawer.
