Item #4323. A fine French secretaire/secretary desk in the Louis XV style. Made all in solid wood with the finest rosewood veneer and original fitted bronze hardware. The piece has a fantastic bombé (swelling) shape on the sides, with a slanted top that drops open resting on two side bars that pull off the sides of the piece. The interior of the top part features a writing desk with small drawers on the sides and with shelving. The lower part of the piece has 3 drawers with fine bronze pulls and lots of storage space. A very decorative and practical piece to add to your interior home decor!!! CONDITION: Very good shape, expect only normal wear to it's age and use. Firm and sturdy. Bid with confidence!!!
