A Very Fine Late 19th Century Louis XV Style Ormolu Mounted, Tulip-wood, Marquetry & Parquetry Bureau Plat by Francois Linke.

The shaped top with molded ormolu surround, decorated with cube parquetry and floral sprays, above a shaped frieze set with foliate and shell-cast encadrement, fitted with a central drawer, on cabriolet legs with sabots.

Yet another staggering writing table by the informal French furniture maker Francois Linke.
