Bordeaux "Tombeau" commode or chest of drawers, 18th century
Commode in cherrywood opening with three drawers. Generously molded panels framing the drawers and the keyholes. Each drawer is unique in its row cut to meet the originality of the shape of the dresser and the amounts shapely ending spiral. The sides are strongly curved and rounded. Plateau wood top, the curve is pronounced. A peculiarity of this commode is the presence of "claw feet" or "Lion paws". Large locks and pull handles, in natural bronze, are original.
