Here is an exquisite Lingerie Cabinet boasting an interesting and lovely patinaed rosewood veneer and highlighted by its original and thick Alep Breccia marble, which has been repaired at some point. This piece is commonly called Semainier by the French, the word Semaine means week for the French, each drawer representing one day of the week. The façade is adorable and mounted with bronze ormolus, each drawer is accented with its original garland shaped handles and escutcheons, and all is supported by slightly scrolled cabriole legs adorned with cast bronze sabots.
