A tilt-top Chippendale style tea table in mahogany, with pie crust, dish top supported on an acanthus decorated turned pedestal, with a tripod base ending in claw and ball feet. Circa 1920-1930s. The table in in excellent condition with strong figuring to the mahogany top and exhibiting a mellow patina. There has been a recent professional repair to a chip on the upper surface of the pedestal and a new latch plate has been fitted. This repair is well done and the top's latch works perfectly. It is only noticeable when the table top is in the vertical position. Carving is crisp with fine details. Size: 29.75" diameter x 28" ht.
