Antique mahogany side table or low desk, elegant slim tapered turned legs, beaded drawer fronts, reeded edge to top and beneath the two drawers. Fine dovetails to drawers, original glued paper lining, beaded strips to each sides of drawer interior. Drawer sides are oak. Has possibly been cut down a little, or may be it had castors. Total height is 72 cm, width is 99 cm and depth is 52.5 cm. It has an old veneer repair to the top - somewhat unsympathetic - but overall is in excellent condition. Probably dates somewhere circa 1815 to 1840 at very latest.
