Piecrust-top table with crotch grain veneer in birdseye maple. Carved pedestal. Acanthus-carved knees. Claw & ball feet.
The elaborate carved edge of the top in shells and scrolls is derived from the mid-18th century silver salver tray design. It is a rare find in this remarkable condition.
The top is in magnificent condition with no stains or other damage.
