Fine and graceful,19th c American Renaissance Revival inlaid stand. Extra nice quality and condition, this petite, three tiered table/music stand, has an exceptionally well done marquetry inlay of musical instruments, flowers and various Victorian flourishes. The central design on the top tier is inlaid into an ebonized rectangle which is set into mahogany. The primary wood for all three shelves is mahogany, but the color makes it look like rosewood. The supports and legs are ebonized and the support between the second and bottom shelf curves out in a graceful serpentine and the legs themselves, curve out. All three shelves are trimmed in finely cast brass and the top features a pierced, open-work gallery on three sides. Re-glued and beautifully French polished. 16" wide x 11 1/2" deep x 31 1/2 " high.
