Circa 1880. Exceptionally nice Victorian parlor table. This fine American, solid black walnut parlor table is oval in shape with a carved, curvy Rococo feel and tasteful "chip carvings" popular during the last quarter of the 19th century. The unusual apron, angles out from the Italian white marble top and is very detailed. This table is also unusual in that it is in excellent original condition with no missing, broken or repaired pieces and in very good original finish. The original marble top has an ogee edge and is in good condition with only some small chips around the bottom edge. Original, removable casters complete this table to perfection. We have re-glued and lightly polished this all original stand to preserve it's fine original patina. 29 1/2" wide x 22 1/2" deep x 29 1/2 " high.
