Circa 1840 Empire dropleaf workstand, fine figured and flame mahogany, probably J&JW Meeks, NYC, excellent form, lyre shaped double pedestal on scrolled feet, triple ovolo front, each drawer has fitted interiors-top has slant writing desk, large storage drawer.

Condition – excellent untouched original finish, excellent veneers, shows some crazed surface on dropleaves, great solid stand. 745
