This is an extremely rare & important 18th century exceptionally strong and very bold tiger maple twelve drawer fluted corner columns with lamb tongue returns bracket base New England chest on chest. Attributed Origin: Rural Connecticut With its original surface & original hardware. Choice mellow nut brown amber patina. In a superb state of preservation. Recently acquired from a client east of Brattleboro, Vermont who purchased it in 1935. It has been owned privately since 1935 until Equinox Antiques & Fine Art discovered it on a house call and purchased it privately from the client.
