Description: A very large decorative iron strong box of riveted form with elaborate scroll work working lock and glass top. The sides with carrying handles. The hinged cover with key operating locking bolts. The front with false lock.

Additional Information: Elaborate scroll work contained within the structure of the strong box is quite unusual and appears very infrequently. Often decorative escutcheons are added to the outside of a plain grid form (as is also the case with this strong box).
